U9-U11

LGSA - Lakeshore Girls Softball Association is a non-profit organization run strictly by volunteers. Our success is measured by the involvement of all our parents.

Spring House League is where players can learn the game, learn new skills and make new friends, all the while having fun. 

What is U9-U11 softball?
  • Goal: Introduction to softball for new players, and continued player development for our returning players. 

  • Ages:

  • U9-2016-2017

  • U11-2014-2015

​

  • Activities we're going to cover:

    • Throwing

    • Catching

    • Batting

    • Base-running

    • Basic softball rules

    • Introduction to pitching and catching

    • The fundamentals will be covered during pre-game practice sessions, but there will be more emphasis on developing situational skills in real-time game play!

 

Equipment needed:

 

Season: May to end of June 2025
  • Location: various parks in Kirkland and Beaconsfield

  • 2 games a week and a practice on the weekend

A strong volunteer base is at the core of every successful program. Our team of volunteers is made up of amazing, dedicated parents, LGSA players and alumni.  Our volunteers are essential in making girls softball a memorable experience.
