What is U9-U11 house league softball?

Goal:
Introduction to softball for new players, and continued player development for our returning players.

The fundamentals will be covered during pre-game practice sessions, but there will be more emphasis on developing situational skills in real-time game play!

What equipment is needed?

Cleats or athletic running shoes

Helmet with a grill

Fielding mask

Team bats will be available for players who do not own a softball bat.

What are the season dates?

Spring: May to end of June

Summer: July to mid-August

Location: various parks in Kirkland and Beaconsfield

2 games a week and a practice on the weekend

A strong volunteer base is at the core of every successful program. Our team of volunteers is made up of amazing, dedicated parents, LGSA players and alumni. Our volunteers are essential in making girls softball a memorable experience. Resources and support are available for all volunteers, including coaches of any experience and skill level.
