"B" LEAGUE
 

LGSA - Lakeshore Girls Softball Association is a non-profit organization run entirely by dedicated volunteers.  Our success is measured by the support and involvement of all our amazing parent community.

Summer Intercity "B" League is where players take the game to the next level of competitiveness, continue to develop new skills, make strong bonds & friendships, all the while having lots of fun.

 

The league is divided into the following age groups set by Softball Canada and Softball Quebec:

U9

Year of Birth: 2016-2017

U17

Year of Birth: 2008-2009

U11

Year of Birth: 2014-2015

U23

Year of Birth: 2002-2007

U13

Year of Birth: 2012-2013

U15

Year of Birth: 2010-2011

What to expect?

  • Play competitive softball against other B class softball teams registered with the Lac Saint-Louis Softball League
     

  • Teams:

    • Evaluations/Try-Outs may be required to determine the teams and players positions

    • Teams are comprised of players from our Spring House League
      Players must play in the Spring House League in order to participate in the Intercity League!

    • Players MUST commit to 80% of games and practices

    • Recruited players residing in a region not recognized by LGSA must obtain a signed release form from their home city's softball association (Exception: Recruited player doesn't have a team of her category in her home city).
       

  • Games and practices:

    • Approximately 10 to 15 regular season games

    • 1 practice each week (usually on weekends)

    • U9 to U15 age groups will have a 6:30pm game and are expected to be at the field for 6:00pm

    • U17 to U23 age groups will have an 8:30pm game and are expected to be at the field for 8:00pm
       

  • Tournaments:

    • A potential weekend tournament hosted by a local softball league in July (e.g. Le tournoi des Rafales)

    • A week-long Regionals tournament in mid-August

    • If the team qualifies, a 3-4 day Provincial tournament in September
       

  • Location:

    • Travel games can be held in Valleyfield, Rigaud, Chateauguay, Saint-Lazare, Ile Perrot, Vaudreuil-Dorion and Kahnawake (U11 only)

    • ALL HOME GAMES are played in Beaconsfield or Kirkland
      ​

What are the season dates?

  • June to mid-September​​

Mandatory Lakeshore Intercity uniform

  • Full uniform includes pants, socks and belt - Prices to be determined

    • U9-U13: White pants, red socks, red belt

    • U15-U23: Blue pants, red socks, red belt
       

  • Each item is available to be purchased separately - Prices to be determined

    • Jersey and number are to be purchased by the player.  The player owns the number as long as they are playing Intercity with LGSA.​

LGSA’s colors are Royal Blue, Red and White. The teams representing LGSA are required to be dressed alike, wearing the Royal Blue, Red and White colours.

  • Softball Glove- to choose the right glove click here

  • Fielding mask

  • Softball Bat- to help you choose the right bat click here

2025 Intercity price $185

  • The Intercity fee is the registration to play

  • Payment is to be made once teams are selected

A strong volunteer base is at the core of every successful program. Our team of volunteers is made up of amazing, dedicated parents, LGSA players and alumni.  Our volunteers are essential in making girls softball a memorable experience.
